Welcome to the Kentucky's Wilderness Road Girl Scout Council Resident Camp web site! We have added this web site to help you find the perfect Summer Camp for your campers.

We take enormous pride in our camps, and would like to invite you to a wonderful summer of adventure and fun. We
have events for all age groups with unique programs so our campers can enjoy some of the finest camping experiences
in Central and Eastern Kentucky.
Camp Cardinal located in Carter County, Kentucky, offers horseback
riding at our Equine Center, caving in some spectacular sites located at Carter Caves State Park, beginning scuba diving,
snorkeling, and swimming in the 40'x80'pool.
Camp Judy Layne located in Morgan County, Kentucky,
offers adventure based programs that give outdoor enthusiasts plenty of activities to choose from. You
can start on the climbing tower with a 300ft. zip-line, and work your way to the natural cliffs to rappell and climb
the beautiful sites on camp property. Our low ropes course adds elements of teamwork that campers love to
challenge, and an archery range they strive to aim for. The camp is a short drive to Cave Run Lake
where we offer sailing, canoeing, and swimming on the lake.
