opportunities, please fill out an Adventure Opportunity Request Form or contact the Lexington Office, Sherri Thomas, Adventure
Program Manager. The Adventure Opportunity Request Form can be downloaded from our website.
Girl Scout
adventure programming is a progression of activities that are fun, active, engaging, and challenging. From simple games
on the ground to climbing to the top of one of our climbing towers and then zipping down the zipline. These opportunities
will enrich the Girl Scouting experience while building courage, confidence, and character of everyone who takes part.
Without proper equipment and experienced facilitators our adventure program would not exist. Wilderness Road
Council strives to provide a safe and quality program at a minimal cost. Most of our adventure facilitators are volunteers
and are not always available on the requested dates. We will do our best to schedule a facilitator for you. We
encourage you to participate in our scheduled adventure days at camp. See the TAP Calendar for dates.
