NOW HIRING for seasonal summer staff!!!
We are looking for qualified energetic applicants
to fill the following positions. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age or a High School Graduate and love
working with children. All positions are not available at all camps. We will
hire International staff.. Positions Available:
Business Manager:
Program Director: Develops and implements programming at camp, including, but not limited to girl-interest activities, all camps,
and all other specialty programming. Responsible for scheduling weekly activities and works with Head Unit Leaders
with daily program activities in units. Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age or older with previous
camp experience. Must have a positive attitude and ability to lead and teach.
Waterfront Director: Responsible for supervising,
organizing, and administering all water-related activities. Also must have knowledge of boating (canoeing and sailing).
Must ensure that all activities are consistent with Girl Scout Safety-Wise and American Camp Association
standards. Qualifications: Must be
at least 21 years of age or older and posses a current American Red Cross Safety Instructors Certificate. Will offer
certification during staff training!
Lifeguards:
Food Service Director: Responsible for the supervision of all food service personnel, menu planning, ordering and food storage,
and meal preparation. Oversees training and records for proper food handling, provides kitchen/food inventory,
and ensures that all safety and health regulations are being met. Proper nutrition and dietary knowledge helpful. Qualifications: Positive attitude, previous food service and nutrition experience. Must be 21 years of age
or older. Flexible working hours.
Unit Staff, Head
counselors and assistants- Works directly with the campers and responsible for planning, scheduling,
and taking part in every day activities. Must have a love of children and be able to teach various skills. Head
Counselor needs to be 21 years of age or older, Assistant Unit Leaders need to be at least 18 years of age. Previous camping experience is preferred.
